Pool Reminders

Don’t break the RULES They are in place for everyone’s enjoyment and safety. Parents, you are in charge of your children, so most of these are broken by you… Please make sure you and your family or guests are adhering to the below:

  • Use appropriate plastic swim pants for those still potty training. Basic swim diapers are not enough (they leak) and this causes pool shutdowns. You are on camera, and the key system monitors when you go to the pool. You will be charged for cleanup costs if caught.
  • No oversized inflatables!
  • The pool closes at 10pm. After 10pm you are trespassing, and we will report to the police and turn of cards.
  • Do not let people in without a key!!!! Letting outside people in will fill the pool faster, wear it down, and then there’s no way to hold anyone responsible for any damage or issues they cause. We’ve seen lots of kids push the button to let people in as well. Please make sure they know not to do this. If you bring in guests, please make sure you are being courteous to other owners by not completely over-taking the pool.
  • The pool is not your babysitter. Kids must be 13 years of age to go alone, and if under 13, they must be accompanied by someone 18 years and older. A 13-year-old sibling cannot watch a younger sibling.
  • Please be courteous to others also at the pool! No throwing toys or balls over others or across the pool, and no running and screaming! If your kid is running and screaming stop them.
  • Use headphones, not everyone likes your music.
  • No food or drinks in the pool. Keep this to the sides and away from the water, and clean up your spills and trash.
  • This is a neighborhood pool, wear appropriate attire. No tighty-whities, or undergarments, and please keep it classy. Remember is a family community.
  • Leave the city garbage cans outside the pool gates. These are used by dog walkers and others in the community, so should not be inside the pool area.
  • Do not bring pets inside the pool area, and don’t tie pets up outside the pool, so they can bark the entire time for your attention. Take them home.

Canyon County Mosquito

Mosquitos are out. If you have concerns or need abatement, you can reach out to Canyon County at 208-461-8633.

Fireworks

Aerial fireworks are illegal! Please remember to use caution when lighting fireworks, keeping them away from neighboring homes and roofs. This year’s reports about damage to trampolines, homes, yards, and lack of cleanup after the holiday were excessive. If you choose to use legal fireworks for future events or holidays, please be sure to be safe and courteous to neighbors.
